Minefense is a simple tower defense that, despite what its name suggests (the application, once installed, is called Minecraft Tower Defense), has nothing whatsoever to do with Minecraft. Instead, players have to use generic-looking objects against generic-looking enemies in even more generic settings.
The gameplay in Minefense is typical for games of this genre: players have to place defensive towers along a path, aiming to kill all the enemies who try to pass through them to get to the area you have to defend. For each enemy you kill, you'll get money with which you can continue to buy towers.
As is also common with other tower defense games, you can buy several different tower types. The most basic ones throw ninja stars at close range, while more advanced ones launch cannonballs or nuclear bombs.
Minefense is a very simple tower defense both visually and functionally, but it will keep you entertained for a good while anyway thanks to its many single-player levels.
